“Oriole without wing”

There is uncollected garbage lying around the house, a mountain of gravel rises on the left side. It was brought here to level the road leading from the highway through the village and to the water tower, awkwardly sticking out above the low roofs.

What interests me is what happens to an ordinary person when the world around them starts behaving absurdly. Sometimes that comes out as satire, sometimes as science fiction, and sometimes as a quiet story about how, when you are sixteen, spring takes a very long time to arrive.
